COACH - HIGH SCHOOL

About the position

The Central Kitsap School District is seeking applicants for the position of Assistant Coach. Applicants must be at least 19 years of age and must complete required training prior to their first day with students. This includes various online training modules and certifications related to safety and coaching regulations. The position is governed by a Collective Bargaining Agreement that specifies employment benefits.

Responsibilities

• Complete required training before the first day with students.
• Ensure compliance with Washington Interscholastic Activities Association (WIAA) rules.
• Maintain current CPR and First Aid certification.
• Provide coaching and support to student athletes.

Requirements

• Must be at least 19 years of age.
• Completion of Central Kitsap School District required training.
• Completion of WIAA required training.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in coaching or working with youth sports.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
