About The Position

Janicki Industries is an innovative, family-owned aerospace company looking for a CNC Mill Technician to join their growing team. This position is located on-site in Hamilton, Washington State. The CNC Mill Technician performs a variety of duties and utilizes multiple skillsets. Technicians are required to follow detailed designs, instructions, and programming. Daily tasks include 5 Axis Mill Operation, tooling knowledge, calibrated equipment, machine operation, part loading, clamping, and machine maintenance.

Requirements

Must be a US Citizen or of Legal Permanent Resident Status
Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required)
Agreed to enter a Continuous Evaluation program
High School diploma or GED required
6 months or more of operating machinery in a manufacturing environment required
Effective verbal and written communication skills

College level or trade school education preferred

Responsibilities

Reads and understands blueprints, isometric drawings and work orders
Receives and carries out directions from designated Supervisors and Production Leads
Understands and complies with Safety Practices
Identifies and obtains equipment, tools and materials needed to properly perform job function
Sets up scaffolding and safety barriers under direction
Properly executes Hazardous Material Disposal activities
Performs prescribed maintenance on machines and facilities as required
Works in other Cells to support Production as required, e.g.; Mold Fab or Assembly Cells
Performs on the job training, AS9100, Nadcap training and other training as required
Performs other duties as assigned
Works well under pressure, meeting and completing multiple deadlines
Demonstrates cooperative behavior with colleagues and supervisors
Maintains good attendance
