This is a contract-to-hire position based in Union Grove, Wisconsin, requiring candidates to manage multiple machines and perform quality checks using precision tools.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machinery, primarily lathe robotic CNC machines.
• Handle and machine raw materials to prepare them for in-house assembly.
• Set up multiple machines for the day and potentially run two machines at once.
• Perform quality inspections on machined components using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a CNC Machinist/operator
• Minimum 2 years of experience performing tool changes and offsets on CNC machinery
• Minimum 2 years of experience using micrometers, calipers, and gauges to perform quality inspections
• Minimum 1 year of experience utilizing blueprints to meet customer specifications.

Nice-to-haves

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to perform thread rolling and other machining processes.
