About the position

The CNA/Med Tech position at Westminster Woods on Julington Creek involves providing essential daily nursing care to residents in an assisted living environment. The role emphasizes preserving residents' dignity, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and delivering high-quality customer service. The position is full-time, primarily during the evening shift, and requires a compassionate individual dedicated to serving others.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients/residents with Daily Living Activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, transfer, ambulation, toileting and other resident needs.
• Ensure daily tasks are completed, including making beds, removing trash, serving meals, and maintaining hygiene in residents' rooms.
• Take vital signs and report observations and any changes in condition to the nurse.
• Practice Infection Prevention and Control measures in compliance with Federal, State and Facility requirements.
• Document in CNA ECS flow-sheet timely, accurately and completely.
• Make routine and frequent rounds to ensure safety precautions and equipment are in place and functioning properly.
• Prevent skin problems or breakdown by providing timely incontinent care and repositioning residents as needed.
• Assist the Activities Department with activities for the residents.

Requirements

• Must be a certified nurse's aide in accordance with laws of Florida.
• Medical Technician Certified.
• Must be CPR Certified.
• Experience working with older adults in a healthcare setting is desirable, preferably a minimum of 6 months.
