About the position

The Cloud Software Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain cloud-based solutions. This role focuses on ensuring the availability, scalability, and security of the cloud environment while optimizing performance and minimizing downtime. Technical expertise and problem-solving skills are essential for driving successful cloud deployments.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud-based solutions using Azure, IIS, ASP.net, NIST, web services, and SQL.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, define and document cloud architecture best practices and requirements.
• Develop and deploy scalable and secure web applications on the cloud platform.
• Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure performance, making recommendations for optimization and improvements.
• Implement and maintain security measures to ensure data protection and compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure proper integration of front-end and back-end components.
• Provide technical assistance and mentorship to team members, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven Cloud Engineer experience with expertise in Azure, IIS, ASP.net, NIST, web services, and SQL.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, cloud platforms and cloud services.
• In-depth knowledge of IIS and ASP.net, with the ability to design and deploy web applications.
• Experience with NIST guidelines and best practices for cybersecurity and compliance.
• Proficiency in scripting languages, such as PowerShell or Python.
• Familiarity with SQL databases and the ability to write efficient queries.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
