About the position

The Cloud Support Engineer at Parker Hannifin's Digital & IT Team is an intermediate technical role focused on providing support for cloud operations and infrastructure. The position requires collaboration with various teams to solve complex technology challenges and ensure alignment with organizational goals. Responsibilities

• Participate in multiple teams/projects, demonstrating complex problem-solving techniques along with an understanding of one or more technical/functional business areas.
• Provide front line support for technology challenges, deployment of new resource requests, and recommend modifications to basic IT systems to improve processes.
• Define and analyze business-related technology requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver project objectives on time and within scope.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in IS/IT, Business, or related function.
• 2+ years' experience in Information Technology with industry recognized qualifications.
• Demonstrated experience with Azure infrastructure, including knowledge of Azure services and capabilities.
• Ability to provision and manage resources in Microsoft Azure, including virtual machines, storage accounts, and networking components.
• Understanding of basic network components and configurations, including VNETs, subnets, and security groups.
• Experience using Powershell and Bicep scripting languages.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with other cloud providers (AWS, Google, etc) is a plus.
• Experience working in VMware or other virtualized compute environments.
• Willingness to work off-hours and provide on-call support, if necessary.
• Willingness to travel, if necessary.
