About The Position

The Cloud Software Architect will architect the modernization of enterprise-class software applications. They will work in coordination with Agile development teams and other stakeholders to architect, design, build, migrate, expand, automate, and sustain a large, multi-tenant cloud platform/enterprise. The Cloud Software Architect will leverage their experience in cloud software architecture to design and direct the development of this exciting new solution. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Programming, Computer Engineering or relevant experience preferred
  • 10+ years of related experience with AWS cloud computing
  • Proficiency in the following languages: Bash, Python, Node.js, and React.js
  • Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) utilizing one of the following: Terraform and/or CloudFormation
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs and event-driven architecture
  • Linux OS experience
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including UI/UX designers, product managers, and other developers) to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Experience with application using serverless architecture and/or containerization
  • Extensive SDLC experience
  • Excellent communication skills with demonstrated experience delivering presentations to diverse audiences at various levels of an organization
  • Must possess AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional -or- Must possess AWS - Certified Solutions Architect - Associate and be willing and able to obtain AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional within 180 days of hire
  • Must be able to pass a background check to obtain a position of Public Trust.
  • Must be US Person (Green Card Holder, US Permanent Resident Alien, Refugee, Asylee, or US Citizen)
