About the position

The Team Leader at Chick-fil-A is a pivotal role that embodies the company's core values and culture. Team Leaders are responsible for leading by example, coaching staff, and maintaining a high standard of customer service while fostering a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Participate operationally in day-to-day activities in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant.
• Offer immediate and respectful responses to guests' needs.
• Assist in training new hires and set the tone for each shift.
• Act as a role model for the team and encourage a friendly atmosphere.
• Open and/or close the restaurant, lead shifts, and act as a key holder.
• Count drawers and finalize the day's transactions.

Requirements

• Strong people skills with a desire to serve team members.
• Ability to manage team member behavioral and performance issues.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.

Nice-to-haves

• Prior experience as shift lead, crew lead, supervisor, team lead, restaurant manager, or restaurant assistant manager is preferred.
