About the position
The Clinician I position at Sycamores focuses on providing equitable mental health services to transitional aged youth and adults, particularly those from low-income and high-risk backgrounds. The role involves delivering individual, family, and group therapy, crisis intervention, and advocacy services tailored to the specific therapeutic needs of consumers. Clinicians work in various settings, including clinics, residential sites, schools, and clients' homes, ensuring compliance with clinical benchmarks and program contracts.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual, family, and group therapy to clients.
- Conduct crisis intervention and advocacy services.
- Meet clinical benchmarks for quality care and productivity requirements.
- Ensure proper care is provided in accordance with program contracts.
- Develop and implement behavioral health services tailored to consumer needs.
Requirements
- Master's degree in a related field required.
- Valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license or equivalent required for Clinician II.
- Registered MFT, MSW, APCC, or Psy. D/Ph. D intern in California for Clinician I.
- Fluency in English required; Spanish language skills preferred.
- Valid California Driver License and acceptable driving record.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with DMH preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
