About the position

The Clinical Therapist evaluates, diagnoses and treats a variety of mental health and substance use disorders using appropriate tools, techniques and approaches. The therapist formulates clinical treatment plans based upon assessment of problems and identification of service needs, and participates in collaborative clinical supervision, case consultation and case reviews.

Requirements

  • A Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Guidance and Counseling or other related degrees allowed by DHS 35.03 (9g) is required.
  • Candidate must be licensed in Wisconsin as an LPC, MFT, LCSW, PhD or PsyD; in-training status may be considered, but candidate must obtain full licensure within 6 months of being eligible for such licensure.
  • Three thousand (3000) hours of supervised post-Master's experience in clinical practice is preferred but not required.
  • Training and experience in an outpatient clinic setting is also preferred.
