Responsibilities
- Perform administrative duties under the direction of supervisors and clinical team members.
- Schedule appointments and confirm follow-up care.
- Coordinate the import of medical records for transitions of care.
- Assist with pre-visit planning to ensure necessary records and results are available during patient visits.
- Provide timely follow-up care and communications as directed by providers or nurses.
- Monitor and maintain appropriate patient follow-up through effective communication.
- Interview patients to obtain necessary medical information for appointments.
- Participate in collaborative measures and complete special projects as assigned.
- Ensure exam rooms and clinical areas are stocked, cleaned, and checked for expired items.
- Chart pertinent data in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-2 years of related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
