Requirements

  • Pharmacist obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Must be willing to initiate the process to obtain one or more Pharmacist licenses within 90 days of hire/transfer for the following states: AL, AR, IA, ID, KS, KY, LA, MD, MI, MS, NE, OK, OR, TN, TX, VA & WV.
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Pharmacy required.

  • The role is ideally suited for someone located near Evansville or Indianapolis.
  • The candidate will support Dermatology and Neurology clinics in a partially remote capacity, with an expected onsite presence of about 1–2 days per week at a clinic location, potentially more depending on the candidate’s preference.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safe selection, dosing, preparation, dispensing, and administration of medications within specialized areas such as oncology, cardiology, and nuclear medicine.
  • Review medication orders to identify, prevent, and resolve drug-related issues while recommending formulary alternatives when appropriate.
  • Serve as a pharmacy subject matter expert by providing drug information, patient counseling, and clinical guidance to healthcare teams and leadership.
  • Oversee and support pharmacy technical staff involved in medication preparation, inventory maintenance, and dispensing operations.
  • Collaborate with physicians and clinicians to optimize patient care while contributing to pharmacy education and cross-coverage needs.
