About The Position

As the Clinical Specialist with Stryker Enabling Technologies, you will provide clinical product support to hospital staff and offer on-site guidance and assistance during surgical procedures. You will train surgeons and operating room staff on the use of the company's navigation technologies, associated equipment, and instruments to ensure procedural efficiency. You will utilize proprietary software to prepare pre-operative scans for use with the company's Enabling Technologies system, and assist surgeons in preoperative planning and intra-operative guidance. You will also be responsible for promptly and accurately reporting complaints according to Stryker Enabling Technologies' quality system requirements and providing case coverage at accounts. Additionally, you will support the development and execution of the sales plan, grow the utilization of navigation technologies by increasing volume with current and potential surgeons, actively sell the clinical benefits of the products, and build strong relationships with key surgeons and OR staff. You will collaborate with Sales Representatives and Marketing to enhance communication regarding product performance, obtain purchase orders for products used during surgical procedures, and maintain and track case coverage purchase orders for services rendered.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree OR 6+ years clinical experience
  • Handling of instruments that may have been contaminated by blood or other bodily fluids.
  • Must have a valid driver's license

Responsibilities

  • Assist surgeon in preoperative planning and intra-operative guidance.
  • Provide prompt and accurate complaint reports per the requirements of Stryker Enabling Technologies quality system.
  • Provide case coverage at accounts.
  • Support the development and execution of the sales plan.
  • Grow the utilization of the navigation technologies by increasing volume with current and potential surgeons.
  • Actively sell the clinical benefits of the products.
  • Build strong, positive relationships with key surgeons and OR staff at targeted accounts.
  • Collaborate with Sales Representatives and Marketing to increase communication around product performance.
  • Obtain purchase orders for products consumed during surgical procedures.
  • Maintain and track case coverage purchase orders for services provided.
