About the position
Clinical Social Workers provide clinical services to clients/inmates in a residential, home, inpatient, outpatient, rehabilitation, correctional or similar setting. The Division of Public and Behavioral Health Northern Nevada Adult Mental Health Services in Sparks is hiring for a Clinical Social Worker 1 underfill for a Clinical Social Worker 2 position. This position will provide clinical services to clients in Dini-Townsend Hospital including to provide evaluations and psychosocial assessments of patients; developing and coordinating treatment plans and implementing interventions with patients; conducting individual, family, and group therapy or intervention sessions; developing and implementing discharge and aftercare plans; functioning as a liaison with court officials; and performing crisis intervention. Dini-Townsend is a 30-bed acute psychiatric hospital for individuals with Severe Mental Illness.
