About the position
The Clinical Research Assistant plays a vital role in a collaborative research team at the Neuroscience Research Center and Struthers Parkinson's Center. This position focuses on conducting clinical research aimed at improving treatments for Alzheimer's disease, stroke, and other CNS disorders. The role involves developing and implementing research protocols, conducting cognitive assessments, and supporting pre-clinical studies, all while maintaining a patient-centered approach.
Responsibilities
- Conduct clinical research to improve treatment and prevention of Alzheimer's disease, stroke, and other CNS disorders.
- Develop and implement research protocols, including cognitive assessments and biomarker assays.
- Support pre-clinical studies as needed.
- Train research assistants and prepare manuscripts/reports.
- Perform general lab and office activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Minimum of two years of research experience in neuroscience, neuroanatomy, pharmacology, biochemistry, or a related field.
