About The Position

We are seeking a mission-driven Clinical Recruiter to support CVP's growing Innovative Staffing Division. As the primary support for our Integrated Clinical Staffing Program (ICSP), you will be the vital link between qualified healthcare professionals and Veterans Medical Centers across the country. Your work ensures continuous, uninterrupted patient care for those who have served our country. This position is ideal for a proactive self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about supporting those who have sacrificed for our nation.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of clinical recruitment experience with demonstrated ability to work independently
  • Proven track record recruiting clinical staff across multiple disciplines; including local contract, locum tenens, travel and PRN needs
  • Strong self-management skills—ability to prioritize, manage time effectively, and drive results without constant supervision
  • Knowledge of clinical licensure, certifications, and credentialing requirements for various healthcare roles
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems and recruitment databases
  • Strong understanding of federal or VA contracting environment (preferred)
  • Ability to manage high-volume requisitions across multiple specialties simultaneously

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience recruiting for VA or federal healthcare facilities
  • Familiarity with ICSP or similar government healthcare staffing contracts
  • Existing network of clinical healthcare professionals across multiple disciplines
  • Knowledge of VA credentialing and privileging processes
  • Experience recruiting for both clinical and non-clinical healthcare positions
  • Understanding of state-specific licensure requirements and compact licenses (Nurse Licensure Compact, PT Compact, etc.)
  • Location: Remote- preference for Recruiter based in the Mid-West region

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract qualified clinical staff across multiple specialties, including:
  • Nursing & Advanced Practice: Registered Nurses (all specialties), LPNs/LVNs, Nurse Practitioners, Clinical Nurse Specialists, CRNAs, and Physician Assistants
  • Physicians & Mental Health: Primary Care Physicians, Psychiatrists, Medical Specialists, Hospitalists, Psychologists, and Licensed Professional Counselors
  • Allied Health & Therapy: Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, Respiratory Therapists, Social Workers (LCSW, MSW), and Dietitians
  • Diagnostic, Imaging & Laboratory: Radiologic Technologists, Ultrasound/CT/MRI Technologists, Nuclear Medicine Technologists, Cardiovascular Technologists, and Medical Laboratory Technicians/Technologists
  • Surgical & Procedural: Surgical Technologists, Operating Room Nurses, and Sterile Processing Technicians
  • Clinical Support: Medical Assistants, Pharmacy Technicians, Phlebotomists, EKG Technicians, Patient Care Technicians, and Dental staff
  • Utilize multiple sourcing channels including job boards, social media, professional networks, and healthcare recruitment platforms—taking ownership of creative sourcing strategies
  • Build and maintain robust talent pipelines for hard-to-fill clinical specialties, anticipating future needs
  • Collaborate with Account Managers to provide market insights, weekly staffing updates, and innovative staffing strategies
  • Take initiative to identify and solve recruitment challenges before they impact Veteran care
