About the position

FT Sharonville requires flexibility. Shifts range from 7a-330p (open), 830a-5p (mid-day), 1030a-7p (close) and rotating Sats 9a-1p 1x/month. The schedule consists of 2 days open, 2 days close, and 1 mid-shift assigned. This position will coordinate the patient visit from registration to sending visit information to employers and BWC representatives. It ensures patients are registered to the correct company and services, follows up with employers on authorizations or questions, and prioritizes patient start times. The incumbent will work closely with billing to ensure the proper documentation is sent to the correct MCO, billing, and Workers' Compensation department to ensure quicker payment of service. Scans visit information to the proper EMR location and coordinates the results process ensuring results are sent in a timely basis. Assists with drug and alcohol testing and other non-invasive testing as required to ensure efficiency and timely throughput. Assists with referral or testing scheduling as needed.

Requirements

  • High School Degree
  • Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS)
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Proficient in spelling, grammar, typing, and computer applications including Microsoft
  • Accurate data entry skills
  • Critical Thinking
  • 3-4 years experience in a medical/physician office setting or customer service
