About The Position

Sentara Therapy Center Sports & Spine is hiring a Clinical Exercise Specialist for Outpatient. The Clinical Exercise Specialist administers therapy treatments under the direct supervision of a licensed leader. They provide quality exercise and health education for patients, assuring a safe, pleasant, and professional atmosphere. The role requires productivity and efficiency in daily operations, and the ability to establish and update exercise programs to address client/participant needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Health Science, Kinesiology, Athletic Training, Recreational Therapy, Physical Education, or Clinical Exercise Physiology.
• Must obtain BLS within 90 Days
• 1 year of clinical experience required.

Responsibilities

• Administers therapy treatments under the direct supervision of licensed leader.
• Provides quality exercise and health education for patients, assuring a safe, pleasant, and professional atmosphere.
• Productive and efficient in daily operations.
• Establishes and updates the exercise program to address the Client/participant's needs.
