About the position

The position focuses on supporting the training and education of employees in dialysis facilities, ensuring quality patient care through standardized training programs. The role involves collaboration with operational and clinical leaders, facilitating a world-class dialysis training program, and promoting professional development opportunities for staff.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver standardized, competency-based training and development programs including new employee orientation and clinical training.
  • Align training programs with regional and corporate business goals to enhance patient safety and clinical quality.
  • Develop competencies to educate personnel in chronic kidney disease treatment programs.
  • Promote a culture of lifelong learning through professional programs and coaching.
  • Collaborate with partners to schedule and implement education programs for new and current personnel.
  • Utilize various educational techniques to deliver and evaluate training effectively.
  • Maintain open communication with internal and external customers, including management and healthcare professionals.
  • Support metric and KPI programs with timely data documentation and quality improvement processes.
  • Stay informed about products and services to train staff appropriately in all modalities.

Requirements

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current appropriate RN state licensure in primary state of residence.
  • Minimum 1-year dialysis experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • Successful completion and maintenance of CPR BLS Certification.

Nice-to-haves

  • Advanced degree BSN or MSN (preferred).
  • CDN or CNN certification (preferred) or must attain within 18 months of employment.
