About the position

The Clinical Director at Evoke Wellness is responsible for driving clinical excellence across the defined region or facilities. This role involves implementing evidence-based practices, ensuring compliance with clinical documentation, and monitoring program budgets and metrics. The Clinical Director will lead clinical supervision, training, and ongoing education while providing effective leadership to staff members. Additionally, the position requires oversight of program development and fiscal management to ensure high-quality, client-centered services in behavioral health.

Responsibilities

  • Drive clinical excellence for the defined region or facilities.
  • Research and implement evidence-based practices in support of the clinical brand.
  • Ensure timely clinical documentation and consistency among clinical providers.
  • Monitor program budgets and metrics developed with Executive Directors and senior leadership.
  • Evaluate program effectiveness and maintain program integrity.
  • Design and implement changes to comply with accrediting and regulatory bodies.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to cultural competence.
  • Provide group clinical supervision and crisis consultation as needed.
  • Lead recruitment, interviewing, selection, and performance management of staff.
  • Maintain adequate staffing and improve work climate initiatives.
  • Supervise, train, coach, and mentor Program Coordinators.
  • Develop succession planning and leadership development for clinical staff.
  • Establish strategic vision and oversee implementation at the treatment services level.
  • Monitor compliance with state licensing requirements and HIPAA.
  • Create, prepare, and monitor program budgets.
  • Collaborate with finance to review financial reports and create action plans for improvements.

Requirements

  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in mental health counseling preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare management and clinical supervision.
  • Strong understanding of state rules and regulations regarding clinical functions.
  • Ability to develop and implement clinical programs and treatment models.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in addiction medicine is preferred.
  • Familiarity with value-based payment initiatives related to clinical services.
