Part Time Clinical Dietitian
About The Position
Sodexo is seeking a Part Time (24 hours/wk) Clinical Dietitian to work as an inpatient position with Cape Fear Valley Central Harnett Hospital, a 44-bed acute care facility. This position will also provide support at nearby Cape Fear Valley Betsy Johnson Hospital as needed. This is a great position for a new Dietitian or experienced professional. The role offers health benefits, paid time off, a flexible work schedule, free meals, and free parking. Salary will be pro-rated based on the number of hours worked. Reimbursement for Academy dues, state licensure fees, and CDR renewal is provided, along with money for continuing education events and up to $5000 tuition reimbursement annually.
Requirements
- Registered Dietitian credential and have state licensure (LDN) in NC
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills to interact with a wide variety of individuals and groups
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work with minimal oversight in collaboration with physicians, nursing and ancillary staff
- Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire
- Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice

Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional nutrition care to patients on inpatient units
- Demonstrate knowledge of the nutrition care process
- Work one weekend per month virtually and provide holiday coverage as needed
- Provide education for interdisciplinary team members, patients and/or family members
- Participate in quality improvement projects and other initiatives as part of the clinical team
- Efficiently and effectively organize clinical nutrition and patient care responsibilities
