Clinical Coordinator
About The Position
Star Sleep & Wellness is seeking a Clinical Coordinator to join their Clinical Team at their McKinney location. This role involves collaborating with doctors and mid-level providers to diagnose and treat sleep disorders, managing a patient column, and handling various appointment types. The ideal candidate is relationship-driven, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently and within a team. While medical experience is appreciated, it is not required as comprehensive training will be provided. Initial training will occur in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, with all travel expenses compensated.

- Education and experience in the medical field is appreciated, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Manage a column of in-person patients each day, handling communication before, during, and after appointments.
- Adhere to the standard of care put in place by the Medical Director.
- Establish a relationship link with the patient to ensure continuity of care.
- Complete clinical tasks including vitals, intra-oral scans, oral photos, pharyngometer, and rhinometer.
- Provide education to patients related to treatment options and their treatment plan.
- Assist with troubleshooting treatment plans during post-care appointments.
- Support medical and dental providers by conducting comprehensive patient pass offs.
- Send orders to labs with appropriate documentation when patients move forward with treatment.
- Take detailed notes throughout appointments and complete patient charts in a timely and accurate manner.
- Complete duties related to scheduling and patient payments with a high level of accuracy.
- Upload required documents into EMR software when necessary.
