Requirements

  • Working knowledge of inpatient and/or ambulatory clinic workflows
  • Understanding of Work Flow Engine Rule and Order Transmittal
  • Understanding of Epic User Security
  • Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
  • Must have working knowledge of client/server systems, relational database structures and reporting tools
  • Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
  • Experience working with Epic EMR and its various modules
  • Experience using/implementing/supporting an EMR in a hospital and/or ambulatory setting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Current certification in Epic Cadence
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
  • 2-4 years Epic build experience in Cadence and referrals
  • Must be able to provide proof of work authorization

Nice To Haves

  • Project Coordination / management experience
  • Must possess a working knowledge of HL7 and other interface/integration strategies
  • Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
  • Epic certification in Referrals and Prelude

Responsibilities

  • Function as a project leader and project member
  • Participate in 24 hour on-call rotations as a system duty officer
  • Apply logical troubleshooting and analysis techniques for the purpose of problem resolution
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
  • Maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
  • Self initiate and effectively problem solve issues
