About the position

The Client Services Analyst; Billing Support delivers excellence in customer service to agents, insureds, claimants and other business partners for billing inquiries. Performs the daily workflow transactions including responding to agents and insured billing inquiries, processing payments, and completing tasks with the billing and finance departments. This position will be with National Indemnity Company in Omaha NE, and be hybrid after 6 months. This position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Participates in various customer service billing processes.
  • Performs the daily workflow transactions including responding to agents and insureds regarding inquiries to billing, making electronic payments on-line at the insureds' request, setting up recurring EFT and credit card transactions for the account, responding to customer service inquiries and answering all other questions.
  • Serves as technical support for various agency and insured billing, binding, and policy servicing software applications as appropriate.
  • Answers underwriting questions relating to commercial lines automobile and property new/renewal policies for the agency distribution segment.
  • Identifies underwriting support issues and handles or transfers these issues to the appropriate individuals.
  • Acts as first point of contact with agency and insured customers via telephone, e-mail or other communication, gathering necessary information to help provide answers to questions and solve problems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in business or related field or equivalent
  • Ability to do basic math
  • 1-2 years related customer service work experience
