About The Position

GreenShield is a not-for-profit social enterprise that brings together coverage and care to create better health for all Canadians. They are looking for a Client Service Representative to be the voice of GS to clients and plan advisors, working with Business Development Managers, Account Managers, and internal partners. This role involves regular communication with plan administrators and advisors to answer questions and solve problems, educating clients on GS processes and tools, and playing a key role in implementing new clients and managing benefit administration. The representative will also attend client meetings, assist with plan advisor meetings, and run reports from Advantage to provide quality information.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in benefits and/or related industries.
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma.
  • Understanding of benefit administration issues, claims processes, and group contracts/booklets.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable presenting GSC in various settings.
  • Ability to problem-solve and make decisions with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task, work well under pressure, and be self-reliant.

Responsibilities

  • Be the voice of GS to clients and plan advisors, working with Business Development Managers, Account Managers, and internal partners.
  • Speak regularly with plan administrators and plan advisors to answer questions and solve problems.
  • Educate and empower clients and plan advisors on GS processes and tools, such as plan administration online.
  • Play a key role in implementing new clients or plan amendments and facilitating unique enrollment and benefit administration requirements.
  • Attend client meetings, including new group implementations, employee meetings, problem-solving sessions, and general relationship-building events.
  • Assist Business Development Managers and Account Managers with plan advisor meetings, including sharing GS’s capabilities and value proposition, and participating in finalist presentations.
  • Pull quality information out of Advantage by running various reports for clients and Account Executives.
