About the position

The Client Relationship Consultant at U.S. Bank is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with customers through various channels, including in-person, virtual, and by appointment. This role focuses on understanding and addressing customers' banking needs, providing tailored financial solutions, and promoting digital products and services. The consultant plays a key role in enhancing the client experience by proactively engaging with clients, processing transactions, and collaborating with branch team members to ensure optimal service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow-up.
  • Engage with customers via multiple channels to assess their banking needs.
  • Obtain and process customer and account information accurately.
  • Demonstrate and educate clients on available deposit and loan products and services.
  • Recommend solutions based on each customer's unique goals and needs.
  • Open new consumer and business accounts and complete service requests.
  • Submit credit applications and process basic transactions.
  • Educate clients on emerging and self-service digital products and services.
  • Leverage available resources and technologies to optimize the client experience.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Four to five years of customer service experience.
  • Four to five years of sales experience.
  • Bilingual ability to read, write, and speak in business proficiency of Spanish and English.

  • Demonstrated advanced level of proficiency in making appropriate recommendations that meet customer's needs.
