About the position

Tiffany & Co. is seeking a Client Advisor who is a Mandarin speaker to join our team in Boston, MA. This role is pivotal in embodying the Tiffany brand during every client interaction, ensuring that each experience is extraordinary. The Client Advisor will be responsible for delivering the Tiffany Experience, which is characterized by excellence in service and a deep commitment to the brand's heritage of beauty and craftsmanship. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for luxury retail and a strong entrepreneurial spirit, as they will be tasked with developing client relationships and exceeding sales goals. In this role, the Client Advisor will deepen relationships with clients to drive lifetime loyalty and spending. They will consistently achieve or exceed the monthly, quarterly, and annual store sales plans while capturing and managing client data effectively. The Client Advisor will also cultivate new and existing client relationships, ensuring that a significant portion of sales comes from repeat business. The position requires a strong focus on key product pillars to drive business growth. Service excellence is a core component of this role. The Client Advisor will elevate the in-store experience by delivering memorable moments to every client. They will act as a Tiffany brand ambassador during every selling ceremony, utilizing the Tiffany Touch to personalize each interaction. The Client Advisor will demonstrate Client Experience Behaviors as outlined in the TEI program and will execute best practices to optimize hospitality and store amenities, creating unique experiences based on client feedback.

Responsibilities

  • Embody the Tiffany brand in every client interaction using the Tiffany touch.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships to exceed sales plans.
  • Achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual store sales goals.
  • Capture and manage client data effectively.
  • Drive business through key product pillars and repeat client business.
  • Elevate the in-store experience by delivering memorable moments to clients.
  • Demonstrate passion as a Tiffany brand ambassador during selling ceremonies.
  • Execute best practices to optimize hospitality and store amenities.

Requirements

  • Experience in retail or luxury retail or relevant client-related experience (e.g., hospitality).
  • Proven track record in achieving sales results.
  • Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to work with a diverse client base.
  • Proficiency with Point of Sales (POS) systems, client tracking systems, and Microsoft Outlook/email.
  • Must have authorization to work in the United States or in the country where the position is based.

Nice-to-haves

  • A college/university degree.
  • Graduate Gemologist degree or previous Gemological Institute of America (GIA) course work is preferred.
  • Proficiency in multiple languages.
