About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Clean restrooms, break rooms, and common areas to ensure they are well-maintained and stocked with necessary supplies.
• Dispose of waste and recyclables according to established procedures.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Follow cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure all areas are cleaned regularly.
• Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively, adhering to safety guidelines.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishment as needed.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Good time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that may require lifting, bending, or standing for extended periods.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with staff and management professionally.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with cleaning products, equipment, and techniques is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
