Responsibilities

• Perform general janitorial duties, including cleaning and maintaining the cleanliness of assigned areas
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
• Dust and wipe down surfaces
• Clean windows and glass surfaces
• Follow established safety procedures and guidelines

Requirements

• Previous experience as a janitor or in a similar role preferred
• Knowledge of porter, facilities maintenance, custodial, and floor care practices
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning and commercial cleaning techniques
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment, such as buffers or carpet cleaners, is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness standards
