About the position

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Class A Truck Driver to join our team, responsible for safely transporting goods across 16 western states. This role emphasizes safety, punctuality, and customer service, with a focus on career-oriented drivers. The position offers competitive pay, including per-mile compensation and additional benefits for breaks and safety performance.

Responsibilities

• Operate class 8 trucks with refrigerated trailers.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
• Plan routes effectively for timely deliveries while considering traffic patterns and road conditions.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes traveled, and cargo delivered.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to commercial driving.
• Communicate with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road.

Requirements

• Proven experience in truck driving with a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Familiarity with operating tractor-trailers is preferred.
• Experience with route driving and navigating diverse terrains is a plus.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively on the road.

Benefits

• $0.60 per mile pay with a raise of $0.02 per year on anniversary.
• $35.00 for every 10-hour break.
• Hotel pay for 34-hour resets on the road.
• $10.00 for every dock bump.

• Loading/unloading waiting pay after 60 minutes in 15-minute increments ($5.00 per every 15 minutes).
