About the position

The Fuel Transport Driver position at Gemini Motor Transport involves operating trucks to deliver fuel and commodities across the United States, primarily servicing Love's Travel Stops and various third-party customers. The role emphasizes safety, compliance with regulations, and professional conduct while driving and interacting with customers. Drivers are expected to work variable shifts, typically at night, and are compensated competitively with opportunities for bonuses and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Drive defensively and adhere to all applicable laws and regulations to maintain safety standards.
• Load and deliver fuel and commodities to Love's retail and third-party customers.
• Comply with federal, state, local, and company regulations regarding hazardous cargo transport.
• Understand and follow proper loading and unloading methods for various cargos.
• Maintain communication with logistics as required.
• Complete electronic logs and necessary documentation as mandated by the company.
• Exhibit professional conduct when interacting with customers, colleagues, and vendors.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of verifiable over-the-road driving experience or certification from an accredited truck driving academy.
• Knowledge of applicable DOT and Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Possession of a Commercial Driver's License with appropriate endorsements (HazMat, Tanker, Doubles/Triples).
• Ability to qualify physically and obtain a Medical Examiner's Certificate.
