About the position

US Foods is seeking a Class A CDL Delivery Driver in Muskogee, OK. This position involves safely driving trucks to customers, unloading products, verifying delivery accuracy, handling collections, and performing customer service responsibilities. The role requires physical stamina to lift and carry products and the ability to work in various weather conditions. Drivers typically work 5 days a week, starting between 3 AM and 7 AM, and are compensated based on experience and performance.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled delivery times
• Carefully unload products from the trailer using a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand
• Verify accuracy of delivery with customers and obtain proper signatures
• Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable
• Professionally perform customer service responsibilities to enhance client experience
• Perform all pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
• Minimum of six months commercial driving experience (any industry) OR three months commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry required
• Ability to operate manual transmission preferred; may be required in specific locations
• Must be able to read and communicate in English, understand highway traffic signs, respond to official inquiries, and enter information on reports and records
