About the position
The Claims Senior Representative-Property Field serves as a technical expert in claims adjusting, focusing on determining coverage and investigating, analyzing, negotiating, and settling claims that do not require outside investigation. This role is essential in delivering quality customer service in a high-volume, moderate complexity work environment while also mentoring less experienced Adjusters on the team.
Responsibilities
- Investigate First-Property claims, including personal and commercial property damage claims.
- Determine cause of loss and damages through outside investigation when necessary.
- Analyze and negotiate claims to reach settlements.
- Provide quality customer service in a high-volume environment.
- Mentor and support less experienced Adjusters on the team.
Requirements
- Proven experience in claims adjusting, particularly in property claims.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
- Ability to deliver quality customer service under pressure.
- Experience mentoring or training junior staff is preferred.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with commercial property claims.
- Knowledge of insurance policies and coverage options.
