About the position

The position is for a Class A driver who will run a dedicated regional route, allowing for consistent home time, particularly on weekends. The role offers competitive pay with an average weekly income of $2000 and comprehensive benefits after a short waiting period. Drivers will handle touch freight, ensuring that they are actively engaged in the loading process but will not be responsible for inventory or stocking in stores.

Responsibilities

• Drive Freightliner and International trucks on a dedicated regional route.
• Handle 100% touch freight by placing boxes on a conveyor system.
• Ensure timely delivery of goods while adhering to safety regulations.
• Complete 5 days of paid training before starting the job.
• Maintain a clean driving record and comply with company policies.

Requirements

• Must possess a valid CDL A license.
• At least 3 months of verifiable Class A driving experience in the last three years.
• No more than 2 non-serious moving violations in the last 12 months.
• No more than 3 non-serious moving violations in the last 36 months.
• No more than one serious moving violation in the last 12 months.
• No more than 2 DOT preventable accidents in the last two years and no more than one in the last 12 months.
• Must not have been terminated from the last job for safety reasons.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with touch freight delivery.
