About the position
The Civil Project Manager will oversee and lead civil engineering projects from inception to completion, managing project timelines, budgets, and resources while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. This role requires strong leadership and project management skills to deliver successful engineering solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage civil engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and team members to define project scope and requirements.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct site assessments and evaluations to inform project design and execution.
- Utilize AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroStation for design and drafting tasks as needed.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and standards related to civil engineering and land development.
- Manage utility coordination, stormwater management, grading, and erosion and sediment control plans.
- Prepare and submit necessary permits and documentation for project approval.
- Oversee site development, site civil design, and layout to ensure successful implementation of engineering solutions.
Requirements
- B.S. in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required.
- 10+ years of experience in Civil Project Management.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroStation.
- Thorough understanding of land development, site design, and utility coordination.
- Excellent project management skills with a proven track record of delivering projects successfully.
- Strong leadership skills with previous experience managing a team of engineers.
