About The Position

Farnsworth Group is seeking a Civil or Mechanical Engineering Telecom Co-Op for the period of January - August 2027. This role involves working closely with experienced engineers on energy and utility projects. The position is located in St. Louis, MO. Housing, relocation, and transportation assistance are not provided for this position.

Requirements

• Pursuing a BS in Civil or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited curriculum
• Willing to work full-time during the spring and summer semester from January - August 2027
• Computer proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project
• Excellent Communication skills
• Must be willing to travel and have a valid driver’s license

Nice To Haves

• MicroStation or AutoCAD experience or exposure is preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

• Conceptual through final design and record drawings of utility lines and related facilities
• Field visits to collect data and evaluate existing, pre-design conditions
• Construction documents and administration
• Cost estimating
• Material specifications
• General project and office support
