Responsibilities
- Coordinate and conduct inspection, sampling, and testing procedures for construction projects.
- Verify that project features and materials conform to standard specifications and contract agreements.
- Conduct staking and surveying procedures as required.
- Perform various other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent, including coursework in algebra, geometry, or trigonometry.
- Experience in construction or a related field, such as laboratory testing, transportation design, or engineering.
- For Level III: Four years of experience in highway construction or related field, including two years in inspection, sampling, testing, and/or surveying.
- For Jr. Engineering Coordinator: Five years of experience in highway construction or related field, including three years in inspection, sampling, testing, and/or surveying, plus one year of supervisory or team lead experience.
