About The Position

The Nest Schools, founded in 2021, is a new Early Childhood organization operated by tenured early childhood professionals. They are driven by a vision to raise a world of kind, healthy, happy, and inspired children and aspire to be the state-of-the-art provider of Early Childhood programs. They are seeking a School Director who understands the value of Early Childhood Education and embraces the idea that teachers are Early Childhood Professional Educators. Each school is supported by a full-time curriculum and education specialist, and classroom budgets are provided for learning materials and crafts. The Nest Schools actively strives to be a “Best Workplace” through programs designed around core values of WELLNESS, INNOVATION, KINDNESS, and FUN.

Requirements

• Previous Director Experience required.
• Preferably in large school.
• Early Childhood Education background required.
• Director Credential preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a school within The Nest Schools organization.
• Embrace the idea that teachers are Early Childhood Professional Educators.
• Focus on the quality of programs and children, families, and staff.
• Manage a school with the support of a full-time curriculum and education specialist.
• Utilize classroom budgets for learning materials and crafts.
• Participate in Director Retreats for training.
• Engage in professional development opportunities.
