About The Position

We are seeking a Childcare Cook to join our New Horizon Academy team at our beautiful new Platteville school! This role is for a full-time position, Monday-Friday, from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. The ideal candidate will have a positive work ethic, a team-centered attitude, be comfortable working with food allergies/restrictions, enjoy working in a child-centered environment, and be willing to learn. Previous kitchen experience is preferred.

Requirements

• Meets or exceeds state qualifications for the listed position.

• Can provide proof of identity and eligibility to legally work in the United States.
• Has the physical abilities to perform the required job duties with or without accommodations.
• Has the ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and staff, as well as to understand state licensing regulations and company policies.

Nice To Haves

• Previous kitchen experience preferred.
• Previous experience in Early Childhood Education or related field of work.
