Childcare Aide
About The Position
We are seeking a Childcare Aide to join our team at New Horizon Academy Eagan in the Float classroom. This role is for individuals who love making a difference and want to inspire, encourage, and celebrate a child's love of learning every day. New Horizon Academy is a leader in early care and education with over fifty years of experience, fostering a culture of continuous improvement based on what's best for children and staff. We are passionate advocates for early childhood resources and recognize the critical importance of a child's first five years for social and emotional brain development.
Requirements
- Have positive work ethic and be a team-player.
- Be able to work full-time (Monday-Friday) and be flexible with scheduling.
- Have a passion for working with children!
- Meets or exceeds state qualifications for the listed position.
- Has a passion for working with young children.
- Has interest in beginning or continuing their education in early childhood education or a related field.
- Can satisfy the Applicant Background Study required by state regulations.
- Has documentation of U.S. citizenship or eligibility to work in the U.S.
- Has the physical abilities to perform the required job duties with or without accommodations.
