About The Position

Responsible for the supervision and training of Child Support Enforcement Technician, Child Support Enforcement Specialists and administrative staff assigned to the unit. Establishes goals and priorities, directs the maintenance of electronic case records; conducts routine training; coordinates case actions with staff, prosecutors, and the circuit court; and reviews cases to be referred to the legal staff of the Division. Responsible for ensuring staff completes work according to written policy, and procedures within required time frames. Monitors system generated case management reports, and alerts; compiles statistical reports, evaluates the work of the assigned staff, and maintains the unit time-keeping records; maintains a caseload and resolves complex cases, interacts regularly with the general public and partner agencies and advises the Director of staff training needs and any particular problems that may arise within the unit.

Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Three years of experience in one or more of the following areas: child support enforcement, insurance claim processing, credit or other financial resource investigation activities related to the practice of law or its enforcement, the administration of justice, or related areas, OR six years of experience in one or more of those areas, and two year experience as a Child Support Technician or equivalent.
  • Must possess/maintain valid Missouri Driver’s License.
  • Must submit to and pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
