The Enforcement Case Manager position directly serves the mission of the Fairfield County Child Support Enforcement agency by ensuring court-ordered child support is paid, collected, and disbursed to the legally designated parent or caretaker. Child support is an essential resource, and is often necessary to provide a child vital resources such as food, shelter and medical care. These resources are required to ensure family stability and to protect our community's children. More specifically, the Enforcement Case Manager position helps drive the child support payment engine by reminding and motivating payors to make full and timely child support payments, as required by law. This position manages child support cases utilizing the Ohio Office of Child Support's SETS computer system database. Identifies delinquent cases that may require administrative and court enforcement techniques to encourage support payments. Corresponds with customers to process changes in address, phone number, medical insurance, and employment. Provides payment reminders and works with customers to identify obstacles to employment and connect them with relevant resources and employment opportunities in an effort to reach support order compliance.
