Responsibilities
- Providing a safe, healthy, caring environment for children under your supervision.
- Keeping open, daily communication with parents.
- Serving children drinks and lunches.
- Maintaining confidentiality.
- Attending inservice and staff meetings.
- Keeping all appropriate records.
- Assisting with meeting applicable licensing regulations.
- Reporting any issues or concerns to the director.
- Supervising daily activities, games, arts & crafts, etc.
Requirements
- Must be able to obtain background clearances, including child abuse, criminal and FBI.
- Must be able to obtain First Aid Certification (paid by employer).
- High School diploma or GED is required.
- 2 years professional child care experience is preferred.
- Must be safety oriented.
