About The Position
A Chief of Fiscal Services I directs and administers a financial and accounting system for a city agency. Work involves supervising administrative, accounting, fiscal and office support personnel. Incumbents receive general supervision from an administrative superior. Employees in this class work a conventional workweek. Work is performed in an office where working conditions are normal. Work requires minimal physical exertion.
Requirements
- Have a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Have four years of experience in performing budgetary, fiscal or accounting work including one year of such supervisory responsibilities as disciplining, evaluating the performance of and recommending the hiring, firing and promoting of others.
- Education must be obtained from an accredited institution.
- Education credentials obtained out of the US must be evaluated for US equivalency.
- Provide sufficient information on your application to show that you meet the qualifications for this recruitment.
- Complete authorization for a Criminal Background Check and/or Fingerprint must be successfully completed.
- Complete a Financial Disclosure pursuant to Sections 7-7, 7-8, and 7-9 of the City Ethics Law.
