As Chief Financial Officer you will manage the financial activity of the CAMcare Health Corporation. This includes but is not limited to tracking cash flow, analyzing strengths/weaknesses in the CAMcare's finances and overseeing all aspects of our financial success, while providing executive oversight to the Finance and Billing Departments. In this role you will monitor and control the assets and fiscal commitments of CAMcare Health Corporation and provide financial support to the CEO/President. Responsibilities

  • Direct the Finance and Billing Departments to contribute to the overall financial goals and results of CAMcare Health Corporation.
  • Evaluate fiscal operations on an ongoing basis for adherence to predetermined financial operational goals.
  • Provide reporting to the CEO/President, the Board of Directors and the Senior Management Team to ensure communication of fiscal operating results.
  • Oversee all sides of accounting operations, including payables, receivables, payroll, and tax preparation.
  • Evaluate current and potential financial planning tools to support the strategic planning process and ensure necessary resources are secured.
  • Maintain and monitor CAMcare's charge structures, ensuring a competitive and cost-effective structure optimizing the health center specialties economic environment.
  • Evaluate internal and external resource needs for the achievement of all fiscal strategic objectives.
  • Evaluate information for all fiscal operations to recommend alterations in resource allocation.
  • Develop, manage and evaluate the operating and capital budgets to ensure overall fiscal needs are maintained.
  • Study, develop and document processes for selected functions within the Finance Division and increase training efforts focusing on process improvement, customer needs and sensitivities.
  • Manage the purchasing function, ensuring compliance and supply standardization as appropriate.
  • Advocate and ensure participation in integration activities across departments, focused on long-term fiscal goals and objectives.
  • Lead financial planning and provide support to CEO/President on investment strategies.
  • Perform risk management by analyzing the organization's liabilities and investments.
  • Ensure cash flow is appropriate for the organization's operations.
  • Prepare reliable current and forecasting reports.
  • Set up and oversee the company's finance IT system.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements state, local and federal law as well as company policies.
  • Drive AR results towards Best-in-Class status.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration is required.
  • Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business is required.
  • Minimum of ten years progressive accounting and finance experience preferable in an FQHC or health care related field.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage Intacct, QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience in EPIC Preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of and history of success in the capture of Accounts Receivables.
  • Thorough working knowledge of NJ Medicaid Wrap program.
