About The Position
Gulisek Construction, a company that has been building Western Pennsylvania's bridges, highways, and concrete infrastructure since 1965, is seeking a Chief Estimator. As part of the PJ Dick-Trumbull-Lindy Group, they are a family-owned company with a strong reputation and a positive work environment. The Chief Estimator will lead full estimates on complex heavy civil projects, mentor their team, drive alternative delivery pursuits, and hold profit/loss responsibility. This is a high-level role with significant impact.
Requirements
- 10+ years of heavy civil/highway estimating experience
- Top-notch estimating skills across drainage, excavation, concrete, and bridge projects
- Experience with alternative delivery models (CMAR, design-build, P3)
- HCSS Heavy Bid proficiency
- 4-year engineering degree or a combination of technical training and/or related experience
Responsibilities
- Lead full estimates on complex heavy civil projects (drainage, excavation, concrete, and bridge work)

- Carry real profit/loss responsibility
