About the position
The position involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of water transfers, recycling, and frack pond infrastructure. The role requires working with chemicals and bulk containers in the field, as well as managing third-party vendors to ensure safe and efficient task completion. The candidate will assist in process improvement initiatives and collaborate with vendors to maintain best work practices. Daily communication and coordination with the operations supervisor are essential, along with occasional support for the R&D team in exploring new sustainable water handling technologies, such as enhanced evaporation.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day to day operations of water transfers, recycling and frack pond infrastructure
- Work with chemicals and bulk containers in the field
- Oversee daily operations of 3rd party vendors to safely accomplish tasks
- Assist in finding ways to improve processes to be more efficient
- Work with vendors to maintain best work practices
- Work with operation supervisor on daily basis to ensure constant communication and coordination
- Assist R&D time to time with new sustainable water handling technologies such as enhanced evaporation
- Demonstrate leadership, verbal, and written communication skills
- Support and motivate vendors to achieve operational objectives
- Manage multiple tasks and changes to priorities with little notice
- Ability to self-motivate
- Must be a self-starter
