About the position
Swing Education is seeking substitute teachers to step in for absent teachers, providing flexibility, support, and growth opportunities. This role allows individuals to make a real impact in classrooms while balancing their teaching responsibilities with personal interests and commitments.
Responsibilities
- Follow lesson plans provided by the regular teacher.
- Maintain classroom order and discipline.
- Assist students in their learning process.
- Ensure a safe and productive learning environment.
Requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree, or higher, unless holding the NJ 60 or 30 Credit Instructional Substitute Credential.
- Pass a background check with the NJ Department of Education before the hiring date.
- Provide a negative TB test within 6 months of the hiring date.
- Complete a work history form in compliance with P.L. 2018, c.5, before the hiring date.
