About the position
The Chargeback Analyst position is a temporary role focused on investigating chargeback issues and supporting accounting forensics. The analyst will work closely with internal teams, partners, and vendors to ensure accurate processing and documentation of chargebacks, while also identifying fraud patterns and root causes to prevent future occurrences.
Responsibilities
- Investigating potential fraud patterns
- Communicating with customers and credit card companies
- Preparing documentation to support chargeback representments
- Identifying root causes of chargebacks to prevent future issues
- Processing and reconciling vendor and customer disputes
- Posting chargeback credit card charges
- Maintaining the documentation of the chargebacks
- Updating revenue reports
Requirements
- 4 years of experience in chargebacks/RMA
- Strong communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work with internal teams and external partners
