About the position

The Channel Manager at Berlin Packaging is responsible for maximizing sales and profitability by managing and expanding relationships with assigned channel partners. This role involves developing strategies, negotiating contracts, and ensuring year-over-year account growth while collaborating with various internal teams to meet performance objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage corporate relationships with assigned channel partners to develop strategy and negotiate contracts.
  • Collaborate with the Qorpak sales team to identify and develop new business through assigned channel partners.
  • Coordinate the involvement of company personnel to meet channel partner performance objectives.
  • Responsible for all channel partner development activities including strategy development and execution.
  • Collaborate with sales resources and service divisions to complete complex sales transactions.
  • Develop effective working relationships with channel partners and provide competitive product information.
  • Design sales and marketing campaigns focused on profitable growth through channel partners.
  • Utilize Salesforce and other tools effectively to win business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related discipline or equivalent experience required.
  • 3+ years of successful relationship management, strategic selling, negotiation, and project management experience.
  • Ability to maintain and grow senior-level channel partner relationships.
  • Consultative B2B sales and prospecting experience involving complex project management.
  • Strong business and financial acumen with a thirst for continuous knowledge and growth.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated with a high sense of urgency and strong time management skills.
  • Experience with MS Office and Salesforce CRM preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.
